Our Happy Thanksgiving

This past weekend was a lot of fun with my family visiting from Washington. We had the traditional Thanksgiving spread with David's family at their home in Corte Madera.

In keeping with Robinson family tradition David, Dad, Collin and myself went to the San Francisco International Auto Show. The rest of the family saw Enchanted (which they said was VERY good.)

Kendall, Carmen & Mom saw enchanted at the Grand Lake Theatre Friday we headed into San Francisco for shopping. We also visited Pier 39 and Ghirardelli Square. We got to see lots of Holiday displays including the Union Square tree, the Sir Francis Drake Hotel's Sugar Castle, Ghirardelli Square's tree and the Holiday Village at the Hyatt Hotel. Usually the high end department stores (Neiman Marcus, Saks 5th Avenue, etc) have fancy animated window displays, but there were no such windows this year. very disappointing.

We had great weather all weekend, and it was the first time that my family has been able to see the entire Golden Gate Bridge. The other times they have visited the bridge was engulfed in fog. Saturday we ate lunch at In-N-Out and stopped by The North Face Outlet store in Berekley. We had a lot of fun showing my family our new apartment and to share with them our experience of living in an urban city.
