Saturday Fun

This past Saturday David and I had a bery adventurous and fun day. We woke up early on Saturday and headed to Half Moon Bay where we went horseback riding on the beach! I had a horse named Bonita and David's horse was named Caddie. Our ride took us along a trail at the top of a bluff over the ocean and then we eventually were able to ride on the beach. The waves were absolutely great! I don't really know how to describe them and the picture don't really do a lot of justice.

After our horseride we drove down Highway 1 to Santa Cruz for lunch. At the Boardwalk in Santa Cruz the temperature was 80 degrees and the beach was packed with beach-goers! I wish I had came prepared, but we had expected our horseride to be foggy and cool, and didn't bring any change of clothes.
But it got me really excited for next week, when David and I are headed down to Monterey to celebrate our 2nd anniversary!

Ooooh, it is gorgeous there! California has such a variety of things experience. I loved going on my honeymoon there and going to lunch at little beachside cafes! I love Monterey Bay...it was probably one of the prettiest beaches we went to there...have fun!
