David and I have bought our first home! We bought a one bedroom/one bathroom condo that needed a bit of TLC. So we have been working in overdrive the past 3 weeks whipping this place into shape. Thus far, we have stripped the popcorn ceilings, retextured the ceilings and painted our bedroom.
Thankfully we have gotten enough work done to get all the plastic out of the house; unfortunately the plastic is still on our balcony. You say you like the chandelier?
Too bad we got rid of it. This a picture of the bedroom in the state that we inherited it. Originally the blue that is in the closet was everywhere! You can see it underneath the paint in the bedroom hallway and bathroom. The kitchen and living room were originally a lovely canary yellow color.
The current state of the house:
We are living with alot of dust. As you can see in the picture below it looks as though it is snowing inside. This should be getting better in the next few days.
After clearing out the construction mess we have cleaned the carpets and are ready to paint the rest of the living area/kitchen.Here you can see the "construction stuff" on the balcony. We have a long way to go but are happy with the progress we've made in the past few weeks.
We have had a busy fall and have so much to be thankful for. I am looking forward to Thanksgiving dinner, the San Francisco International Auto Show, seeing Twilight with my sister-in-laws and David's mom this coming week. I think it's going to be a good week.

Lookin' good! I love the color in the bedroom, can't wait for our first visit!
That is an impressive amount of work for just a few weeks. Aren't you in school as well? Hope you can make it just the way you want!
Hey! I don't have your address...or your email address for that matter. How sad is that?
